After one year, I was promoted to Head of Music Merchandising where I took ownership of managing the relationships with record label partners and became aggressive with securing exclusive content to drive new customer acquisition and retention. I initiated the company’s entire music social media strategy, implementing an integrated cross-channel program based on the Kori Flycell persona, resulting in positive brand awareness with our target demographic.

Hired by the VP of New Media from one of the largest independent record label in the US to develop and implement the company’s first mobile ringtone strategy. In the first 6 months, I handled the operational and production of the ringtone catalog, growing it 300%. I devised the content distribution platform to deliver the ringtones to partners. Through regular communication with our distribution partners, I was able to secure prime placement in high traffic areas on web, carrier decks and print for new releases. In less than 2 years, we were able to grow the ringtone business from $0 dollars to a $5M annual revenue stream.
